Perhaps my favorite trail in the park, the Peekaboo Loop trail in Bryce Canyon National Park is an absolute beauty! The trail itself is 5.2 miles long with a total elevation gain of 1,453 feet and is most commonly done as a loop trail. The trail starts near Bryce Point; you traverse down a series of switchbacks until you get to your first crossroads. From there, do the trail in either direction! I usually go right, making this trip counter-clockwise. Sometimes, park rangers say you must complete the trail in a certain direction. Be sure to pay attention to all signs!
One of the most popular hikes in Bryce Canyon National Park, the Navajo and Queen's Garden loop is famous for a reason! It is a 2.9 mile roundtrip hike, with 646 feet of elevation gain and features an easy trail rating, a gorgeous hike down to the canyon floor, and spectacular rock formations with scenic lookout points over the duration of the trail.
Wow, wow, wow!! Brighton sure is a beauty, and I've gotten to experience it to nearly the fullest with the Spring Pass this year. I didn't buy a full season pass anywhere this year, and perhaps that was for the best. I've gotten to ride at Beaver Mountain up in Logan, Utah, tear down some angelic runs at Heavenly Mountain, and then finish it off with over seven days at Brighton this year. It's certainly been quite the season for me this year!

Trees and plants grow straight out of the rocks, and sweeping views of the canyon are abundant at every point in the scenic drive. There's birds … Continue reading Zion National Park, Zion Canyon: What You Need To Know Before Visiting!

It's been a long time coming for sure, but I finally made the trip out here in early March to gorgeous Lake Tahoe in Nevada and California.
