Postcard: Stopping for Lunch by the River in San Rafael Swell, UT

Hiya,

I found a pretty good spot for lunch the other day. No one else was around except for one family of three with a toddler. He was playing with the rocks and wanted to through them into the river from the bridge. So, his parents would walk down to the shore, let him grab one walk, and then race him back to the bridge, where he’d throw the rock in the river. They repeated this numerous times, and the joy in his little cackle and the smiles on the parent’s faces made me stop and enjoy the moment.

Fall is starting to blossom in the desert. It’s quite the site seeing autumn leaves and red canyon walls.
