Something a bit different.

I haven’t been blogging much, and I think it’s partly due to the fact that I want to do things a little different now. I like writing stories about what I did during a certain day, and posting pictures along with those days on that post. However, I’m finding that I’m spending a bit less time taking photos and more time living.  I went to Venice Beach one day for about three hours and came away with six photos. As a result, I have small collections of photos from a variety of days.

I don’t think I mind this as much as I figured I would because I can talk about subjects I wouldn’t otherwise be able to cover. Yes, of course, I will still do the blogs where I cover a full day (be on the lookout for ‘Malibu’ coming soon) but this allows me to move in a more creative direction, which is something I’ve been wanting to do for several months. I haven’t had the content to do that, until now! I will also be taking down some of the older blogs to make space for the newer ones. I will still keep the best shots from those blogs on my ‘Every Shot. Compiled.’ page, but as I am evolving, my site must do the same.

That’s all for now. I’ve been enjoying creating this content and have built a stockpile of photos for the time being. I’m getting back into the portrait game in a bit, so I am excited to share those stories and photos. I like where my life is at this point. I’m able to do what I absolutely love to do and get paid for it. I don’t think it gets much better than this.

Well, I suppose a beach would make it better.
