The Middle of the Road

Some photos have a funny story attached to them.

A police officer came up to us while we were shooting in the middle of the road and asked us what we were doing. I responded and said that we were just getting some photos! He was confused because he had thought we had lost somethin He told us to stay safe and said he hoped the pictures turned out great. I thanked him and we left the middle of the road.

Later, we went down to downtown Buffalo and shot in the middle of the train tracks and captured some amazing shots. Golden hour is one of my favorite times to shoot and it’s even better when I can get these obscure locations. How do I find locations? We just pulled over on the side of the road after we saw this cool field and then decided to go in the middle of the street. Moral of the story:

Shoot first, ask questions later.
