Buffalo History Museum

Two shoots in three days? Perfect.

After shooting in the snow just days earlier, Tassia and I traveled the short distance to the Buffalo History Museum. I’d been itching to shoot here for a while and she was kind enough to let me take her for round two in three days. We shot along the exterior of the museum, capturing scale and the river in the background.

Cloudy day are my favorite days to shoot – the lighting is perfect for portraits. Clouds diffuse the suns rays and cast an even light across the earth and create the perfect environment for shooting portraits. Tassia’s choice of clothing helps even more – purple pulls her our from the background on a gloomy day and makes her the center of attention and wrapping up a key element of photography:

No day is ever a bad day to get out and shoot.
