Ellicott Creek Park

This will always be one of my most favorite shoots.

This was my first snow shoot, and it could not have gone any better. I loved everything about this shoot! We traveled to the Ellicott Creek Park, a dog friendly-park. The snow created a wonderful winter wonderland and I captured magic. Tassia wore a bright purple coat which pulled her straight out of the white background and centered the focus on her. I enjoyed capturing these photos and Tassia enjoyed seeing all the dogs playing in the snow.

Although it was very cold, we managed to make it through, albeit with an intermission at Tim Horton’s for a short hot chocolate break. We got back out there as daylight was fading and captured a few more photos before the sun went down and it got even colder. I loved this shoot because it was my first time shooting in a snow storm, leading to an important note:

Get out of your comfort zone and try something new.
